I have seen a lot of negative articles and comments over the past few weeks about New Year’s resolutions and how it is setting people up to fail. Why is setting goals on the 1st of January a bad thing?
In my eyes being negative about New Year’s resolutions under minds what the individual is trying to do. Which is essentially change in a way that will better them as a person – surely we should encourage this?
If someone you know has set a resolution try not to dishearten them. This maybe the attempt when they are successful – it took me 3 failed attempts to quit smoking.
